Is it really free for the venue?
Yes. The machine, fragrance stock, installation, advertising screen and ongoing maintenance are provided at £0 cost to your venue. These five elements remain free for the duration of the agreed partnership, including after the trial. Your venue provides a suitable agreed space; the installation requirements are reviewed with you before anything is arranged.
How does the three-month trial work?
We begin with a three-month risk-free trial so both parties can assess guest demand, placement and how the partnership works in practice. There is no upfront investment or financial lock-in. The written agreement will explain the review, continuation and removal arrangements before you decide to proceed.
How does my venue earn money?
Your venue receives a monthly share of qualifying fragrance sales made through the machine. The agreed percentage, payment arrangements and sales reporting are set out in your partnership agreement. Revenue depends on actual sales; there is no guaranteed income level.
What do guests actually buy?
Guests select a fragrance on the touchscreen, pay and collect a takeaway fragrance vial. The collection uses inspired-by fragrance profiles. It is a personal fragrance purchase, rather than a room-scenting or odour-control service. Product selection and availability can vary.
Can we use the screen for our own advertising?
Yes. Free HD digital screen space is included for your venue’s own promotions, events and announcements. Bring ideas such as live music, restaurant offers, classes or upcoming functions. ScentMatic will explain the content format and update arrangements during setup.
Who restocks or repairs the machine?
ScentMatic manages stock replenishment, servicing and repairs. Your team does not need to buy fragrance stock or operate the machine for each purchase. The support and access arrangements are agreed during onboarding.
How much space do we need?
Wall-mounted and freestanding options can be discussed. A visible, accessible location with appropriate space is more useful than a hidden corner. The final position and installation requirements need a venue review; you do not need to choose a mounting option to make an initial enquiry.
Is every venue accepted?
No automatic approval is given. Venue type, location, footfall, available space and guest suitability are reviewed together. Busy hotels, gyms, bars, nightclubs, restaurants and hospitality venues are good places to start a conversation. The questionnaire is an initial guide, not an eligibility decision.
